At South Coast Recovery Centre, we understand that no two individuals are the same, and neither are their journeys to recovery. That’s why every resident at our facility receives an Individualised Treatment Plan (ITP), tailored specifically to address their unique challenges, needs, and goals.

The ITP takes into account the nature of their addiction, any co-occurring mental health conditions, personal history, and overall wellness. Our expert team, which includes medical professionals, psychologists, and therapeutic staff, work together to create a comprehensive and personalised plan that ensures each resident receives the most effective care for their recovery.

From the very first assessment, we identify the specific issues that need to be addressed, whether they are physical, emotional, psychological, or social. With a wide range of holistic treatment options available, including medical care, therapy, counseling, physical exercise, and spiritual support, every aspect of the resident’s well-being is considered.

By offering this individualized approach, we are able to guide our residents through a recovery journey that is not only supportive but also deeply personal and responsive to their evolving needs. This customized care plan helps ensure that they have the best possible chance of achieving lasting recovery and a healthier, more fulfilling life beyond addiction.

Does SCRC provide family therapy?

At South Coast Recovery Centre, we understand that the journey to recovery is not an easy one, which is why choosing the right rehab is crucial for effective support and guidance. Recovery is not just about overcoming addiction, it’s about rebuilding every aspect of life. That’s why we provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to treatment, tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

An essential part of the recovery process is family involvement. We recognize the vital role that loved ones play in supporting someone’s path to sobriety, and we create a space for families to be actively involved throughout treatment. Through family counseling sessions, education, and open lines of communication, we ensure that families are not only part of the healing process but also equipped with the knowledge and tools to support their loved ones in meaningful ways.

By offering a structured and compassionate environment, we provide both residents and their families the guidance, support, and skills needed to navigate the recovery process together. The involvement of family is key to long-term recovery, helping to rebuild relationships and foster a healthy, supportive network that can continue beyond the walls of the treatment centre.

We also offer a weekly online family support group designed to educate loved ones about addiction and equip them with the tools needed to support a more successful recovery journey. This support group is a vital part of our program, providing families with a safe space to share their experiences, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of addiction. Through guided sessions with our professional team, families learn about the dynamics of addiction, effective communication strategies, and how to set healthy boundaries. These insights not only strengthen their ability to support their loved one’s recovery but also help to rebuild and maintain healthier relationships throughout the process.

HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?

The journey through addiction treatment varies greatly from person to person, and it is often challenging to predict the exact length of treatment required for any individual. At South Coast Recovery Centre, we take a personalized approach, recognizing that each person’s needs are unique. After developing an Individualised Treatment Plan (ITP), an in-depth assessment is conducted at the end of the first month of treatment, involving the entire therapeutic team and the individual’s family. This comprehensive evaluation helps gauge the resident’s progress and determines the next steps in their recovery journey.

Ongoing case reviews and continuous progress assessments are key components in shaping the direction of treatment. These evaluations guide any necessary adjustments to the ITP and influence the overall duration of the resident’s stay, ensuring that the treatment remains effective and responsive to their evolving needs.

The length of treatment is influenced by several factors, including the severity of the addiction, the duration of substance use, the presence of co-occurring mental health conditions, work and family commitments, financial considerations, and the individual’s readiness for recovery. By carefully assessing all these variables, we are able to offer flexible, targeted treatment plans that maximize the chances of long-term success while considering the practical realities of each individual’s life.
